I started my journey into the world of photography specifically by way of shooting live music in 2012. My main focus and joy continues to be in capturing live music, a challenging genre with working conditions of low light, active subjects, and lack of flash. My ultimate goal is to present this genre as an art form full of the expression, emotion, and energy of that one moment in time. My images have been published in:
The Virginian-Pilot, The Daily Press, Bass Musician Magazine, Natchel Blues Network, NY Daily News, Music Row, Fame Magazine, Hook & Barrel, Hampton Arts Diversions
I am a member of the Yorktown Arts Foundation, the Hampton Roads Digital Photography Club, and the Colonial Nature Photography Club. I am currently a contributing music photographer and writer for http://monkeygoosemag.com and https://www.varsitymusicmag.com.
...and through this little journey in my life, I'm having a ton of fun.
